Introducing New General Manager Steven Hurt

Steven Hurt has been named the new general manager of Jim Ellis Mazda Marietta. Steven brings a wealth of experience with him, having worked in the automotive industry for 24 years. His journey includes leadership roles at many other automotive groups where he excelled. Notably, during his time at another Mazda dealership, Steven led them to win prestigious honors such as Mazda’s Presidents Club, Mazda Financial’s “Drivers of Excellence” and a “Store of the Year” award.

As the new general manager of Jim Ellis Mazda, Steven’s goal is to maintain the dealership’s great success and build on the growth established by prior leadership. He is dedicated to both team development and store growth. He wants to ensure continued prosperity for our Mazda dealership.
Steven attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, and his first car was a 1987 Ford Tempo, a vehicle that holds a special place in his early memories.
In his spare time, Steven enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Indya, are parents to three children: Colin, Luke and Elizabeth. Family travel tops his list of favorite activities.

When asked about his favorite car sold at the dealership, Steven couldn’t pick just one. Having worked with Mazda for over six years, he has personally owned every model currently sold. While his wife drives a CX-90, Steven himself is currently behind the wheel of a CX-70.
