Introducing New General Manager Mike Boyd

Mike Boyd has been named general manager of Jim Ellis Mazda Marietta, bringing 25 years of automotive industry experience to the role. Over the course of his career, Mike has spent five years with the Jim Ellis Automotive Group, previously serving in leadership roles at Jim Ellis Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Kia and Porsche Atlanta Perimeter. He now returns to the Jim Ellis family to lead the team at Jim Ellis Mazda Marietta.

This year, Mike’s goal is to execute the fundamentals of the business at the highest level while delivering exceptional customer experiences in both sales and service.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Education from Carson-Newman University, and his first car was a red Pontiac Grand Prix with front ground effects.

In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family at the lake, hiking, backpacking, camping and traveling.

When asked about his favorite vehicle sold at the dealership, Mike chose the Mazda CX-90 Turbo S Premium Plus for its spacious interior, powerful performance and comfort on long road trips.

Mike says it is a sincere joy to be back with the Jim Ellis Automotive Group and believes it is the best dealer group for developing teams and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
