Mazda Continues to Improve Its Overall Fuel Economy

It’s one thing for a car manufacturer to strive towards improving the fuel economy of its fleet, and it’s another for a car manufacturer to be recognized for its improvements regarding fuel economy. For the fifth year in a row, Mazda has been recognized for its strides towards improving its vehicles’ fuel economy.

According to, “the Light Duty Fuel Economy Trends Report, released by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on Jan. 12, 2018, lists the company as having the highest overall Manufacturer Adjusted Fuel Economy for the 2016 model year. Mazda receives the first-place ranking for the fifth year in a row.” These results were taken by the EPA after observing the improving fuel economy in all car manufacturers sold in the US, and Mazda continues to hold the lead, improving as much as 0.4 miles per gallon just over this past year.

Mazda continues to strive for better fuel economy while also continuing to improve upon its style inside and out as well as its level of performance.
