Another Record Sales Month for Mazda

Mazda continues to build momentum sales-wise across North America this year. After posting a record January, it marks record February Sales.

According to insidemazda.mazdausa.com, “Mazda North American Operations…reported total February U.S. Sales of 25,731 vehicles, representing an increase of 12.7 percent versus February of last year… Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM) reported February sales of 4,352 vehicles, up 14.9 perfect versus February of last year.” This marked the best February sales in the US in 24 years and the best-ever Mazda February sales in Mexico.

These sales increases are mostly thanks to the increased interest towards Mazda’s CX-line of SUVs. The Mazda CX-5 is the biggest standout, posted its 11th consecutive record sales month in February. But all together, the CX-3, CX-5, and CX-9 sold 16,761 vehicles in February which represented a 48.7 percent year-over-year increase and a 53.3 percent year-to-date increase.
