Android Auto and Apple CarPlay Integration Possible for Mazda

With each new model year comes some form of upgrade, and for Mazda’s 2018 model year, that upgrade might be the beginning of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration.

According to carbuzz.com, “Mazda has stated that phone mirroring compatibility would be on its way for the 2018 model year, and a new system that was codeveloped with Toyota would replace the current UI. Thanks to Australian outlet Car Advice, we may have some indication of Mazda’s plans for integrating Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.” It will be a seamless upgrade for those vehicles already fitted with MZD Connect, but there is still no word on how much that upgrade will be, and it will begin in Australia with no word yet on when it will reach the US.

Regardless, all of us at Jim Ellis Mazda Marietta are excited about the potential, and we cannot wait for the day that upgrade reaches the States. Until then, please feel free to visit our dealership to test drive any of the amazing Mazda vehicles already available.
