Check Out the Updates for the 2019 Mazda6!

We know drivers around Georgia will appreciate the new 2019 Mazda6 coming soon to Jim Ellis Mazda! The latest iteration of the Mazda brand's flagship sedan made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and according to the press in attendance, there are many upgrades that will improve the experience. We go into detail on some of these changes below so you know what to expect when this model eventually arrives at our Marietta Mazda dealership!

2019 Mazda6 Design

The 2019 Mazda6 looks largely the same when compared to its predecessor because it incorporates the same design language with its aerodynamic profile and ergonomic cabin. However, there are still many modifications to its appearance. For instance, LED headlights are integrated as a standard alongside the refreshed signature grille. Shoppers will even have the choice of new paint colors like Sumptuous Soul Red Crystal and aluminum alloy wheel sizes. Select trim levels also incorporate premium elements like a power sliding-glass moonroof and Nappa leather upholstery. The outcome is a better overall vehicle.

2019 Mazda6 Performance

One of the biggest changes to the 2019 Mazda6 is to its powertrain. While the new model will still be available with the base 2.5L SKYACTIV®-G engine with 187 horsepower and 187 pound-feet of torque, shoppers now have the opportunity to wield the 2.5L turbocharged SKYACTIV®-G engine which exerts 250 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. This is a considerable increase in output in comparison from previous generations. Another notable difference is its suspension system. Engineered for better geometry, it absorbs tremors more effectively to smooth out the ride and give you greater comfort.

2019 Mazda6 Safety

You can also operate the 2019 Mazda6 with peace of mind because it will have more safety features across the board. New models are projected to receive Adaptive Cruise Control with stop-and-go functionality for enhanced fuel efficiency, full-speed emergency braking for responsive evasive maneuvers, lane departure warning to promote safer driving habits, and even an optional head-up display that projects information like speed and navigation right on the windshield. These innovations will give you more confidence as you drive around Georgia and beyond.

2019 Mazda6 Technology

Last but not least, there are improvements to the tech specs of the 2019 Mazda6 as well. To give this new model a heightened sense of sophistication, it will be offered with a customizable seven-inch instrument cluster and an eight-inch MAZDA CONNECT™ multimedia touchscreen which not only doubles as a 360-degree view monitor but is compatible for connectivity with Apple and Android smartphones, too! Bundled with other upscale amenities such as the Bose Centerpoint® 2 Surround Sound system and front-row seating with heating and ventilation, this new Mazda sedan is a delight!
