Three Mazdas Record Big Sales Gains in July

As we leave July behind and head into August, three Mazda vehicles are riding on a wave of momentum after each recorded sales increases both monthly and year-to-date. These vehicles are the Mazda MX-5 Miata, the Mazda CX-5, and the Mazda CX-9.

According to insidemazda.mazdausa.com, the Mazda CX-5 and the Mazda CX-9 lead the way when it came to Mazda's SUVs. The CX-5 sold 11,402 units in July, marking a 5.3 percent increase from July 2016, and the CX-9 sold 2,318 units, marking a 3.3 percent increase from July 2016. These monthly increases added to the overall month-to-date increase for Mazda trucks, Mazda Trucks have recorded a 4.3 percent increase overall from July 2016. The Mazda MX-5 Miata lead the way among Mazda cars. This July, the Miata sold 997 units, recording an impressive 13.2 percent increase from July 2016. Looking at year-to-date increases, the Mazda Miata has recorded a 27.2 percent increase, the Mazda CX-5 has recorded a 9.7 percent increase, and the Mazda CX-9 has recorded an unprecedented 143.6 percent increase.
