Standard on the Grand Touring and available on the Sport and Touring as an accessory is the Bose® Centerpoint® Surround Sound System and SIRIUSXM® Satellite Radio. The 2013 Mazda CX-5 also features very reliable 4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist. The anti-lock braking system pulses the brakes at all four wheels to avoid lockup and maintain steering control during emergency stops. EBD allocates braking force for the wheels with the most grip, reducing stopping distance in the event of an emergency stopping situation. Brake Assist can detect an emergency stopping situation and automatically apply maximum hydraulic pressure for reduced stopping distances. A coupe more active safety features that keep you protected along your journey is Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control System (TCS). DSC automatically applies select brakes and adjusts engine power output to keep the vehicle on its intended path while TCS reduces power to wheels that lose grip on the road meaning less slippage when road conditions are poor.
You will feel as if you have eyes in the back of your head when you drive the 2013 Mazda CX-5. With the Blind Spot Monitoring System (BSM) and Rear-view Camera, nothing behind you will go unseen. Powertrain Limited Warranty - Mazda warrants that the Powertrain Components of your new Mazda CX-5 will be free of defects with normal use and prescribed maintenance for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. Ordinary maintenance items or adjustments, parts subject to normal wear and replacement and certain other items are excluded.
24/7 Roadside Assistance - If your Mazda CX-5 is not drivable due to a warranted part failure during the coverage period of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty (36 months/36,000 miles), towing service will be covered to the nearest Mazda Dealer. In addition, if a Mazda vehicle is not drivable due to the failure of a warranted powertrain component, then towing service will be covered during the coverage period of the Powertrain Limited Warranty (60 months/60,000 miles).
